Bud needs a new home

My 5-year old rat terrier, "Bud" is looking for a loving home due to my upcoming surgery and progressive inability to walk him. It is a long story but suffice it to say that in the last 5 months I have broken my foot and had a severe dog bite (no,it wasn't Bud) which has hampered my ability to care for my friend. Despite all attempts to find a working solution, this appears to be the best one for Bud as well as myself.

Bud was a rescue dog and he is energetic and fun, plus he is housebroken. He loves all animals, including cats, and loves to be outside. He has no health problems. His only somewhat annoying habit is that he jumps up. He just can't contain his enthusiasm when he meets new people.
